Terms of Service

Akherah is an innovative spiritual productivity application designed to foster consistency in daily prayers (Salah) and nurture Islamic values. The Service incorporates a unique motivation ecosystem known as the “Ummah Economy”, consisting of:

• Ummah Points: Non-monetary, non-liquid, internal tokens awarded upon user self-reporting of completed prayers.
• Ummah Pools: In-app collective destinations where users voluntarily allocate accumulated Ummah Points to vote on real-world projects (e.g., water wells, tree planting, scholarships, cloud kitchens).

• No Monetary or Exchange Value: Ummah Points are strictly internal altruistic tracking metrics. They do not constitute financial tender, electronic money, sovereign currency, assets, utility tokens, investment security, or cryptocurrency of any kind.
• Non-Transferable: Ummah Points have absolute zero cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash or items of real-world value, and cannot be traded, bought, sold, or speculated upon outside or inside the platform.
• Funding Engine Transparency: Physical fulfillment of the real-world crowdfunding pools is financed exclusively by Akherah Studios using accumulated advertising network margins generated from ad impressions, alongside a portion of premium paid subscriptions. Users do not directly hold, claim, or transfer equity, legal ownership, or absolute contractual liability over these humanitarian operations.

• Spiritual Integrity: Akherah functions on an internal honor system regarding the reporting of individual prayer tracking. Verification of honesty remains an individual matter between the user and Allah. Falsification of data to farm points strips the user of platform intent.
• Security & Usage Restrictions: Users must be at least 13 years of age. You are entirely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, including security integrations handled via third-party database nodes (e.g., Supabase storage hooks). Standard platform exploitation or script manipulation to generate synthetic points will result in permanent account termination.

• Premium Multipliers: Paid users bypass programmatic advertising networks, gaining ad-free access and point multipliers (e.g., 5x points per tracked prayer). Subscription costs explicitly contribute to corporate app maintenance and project deployment pipelines.
• Refund Policies: Subscriptions are fully handled and processed by third-party billing services (Apple App Store / Google Play Console Billing). All requests for returns or subscription cancellations must comply strictly with the terms outlined by Google Play or Apple App Store policies.

All content, visual assets, software layout, custom vector icons, system frameworks, specific narrative delivery formats (Reflection Tab text structures), and intellectual branding remain the exclusive properties of Akherah Studios (SMC-Private) Limited.

• Stories & Content Vetting: Historical micro-narratives provided within the Reflection Tab are curated from authenticated collections of Hadith and classical Islamic scholarship. However, the software layout offers general moral framework lessons only and does not substitute as formal legal-religious fatwas.
• Service Availability:The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without explicit warranting of uninterrupted server uptime. Akherah Studios will not be held liable for internal data loss or service disruption stemming from third-party ecosystem cloud infrastructure outages.

These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in structural accordance with, the laws of Pakistan, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal actions or proceedings arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in courts located within Pakistan.

We reserve the right to amend or completely replace these Terms at any time by posting the updated text directly on this landing page. Continued interaction with the platform constitutes continuous assent to active terms.
